What version of calibre and what OS are you running? If it's Windows 10 64-bit or Windows 11, upgrade calibre to the latest version.

If you are using the KoboTouch driver, you want to do the following.

Go to Preferences
Search for kobotouch
Click Customize plugin
Go to the Medatadata. on device & advanced tab
Under Advanced options, check Attempt to support newer firmware
Click OK
Click Apply
Click Close

If you are using ther KoboTouchExtended driver, select that wen you get the search results. Everything else is the same.
