Grabs metadata from the Kobo store
Features- Can grab title, author, synopsis, publisher, published date, series, and tags
- Can fetch high res cover art
- Blacklist tags / terms in the title
- Select from different countries
Note that Kobo seems to do a pretty bad job of tagging series properly - not much I can do about that
Troubleshooting
If the plugin is having trouble picking up the right book, you can try either:
- Opening the book details and using the "Edit Metadata Individually" button while turning the "Number of matches to fetch" setting up.
- Adding the isbn to the "Ids" field
- Set the country code in the settings
If you are getting "failed to find any books that match your search" and the log is full of "KoboMetadata::get_webpage: Could not defeat cloudflare protection - trying again", then unfortunately we couldn't beat the cloudflare protection this time. Try again later
