To use wifi in KOReader I need to connect to a network via the Kindle software (network selection is not implemented in KOReader for Kindle). This means the Kindle software can now connect to the internet as well.

Does this mean my Kindle will still phone home to Amazon as it did before? I guess so? It probably doesn't know my exact reading habits since page turns and such are within KOReader now but it probably still reports what books I have on the Kindle, when the Kindle was turned on and off, charged, etc.

Is this correct?
