that's normal for where I normally live. California is notorious for rolling brownouts. we are having 90+ heat in an area that rarely goes over 75 in the summer time. there's a monster highpressure ridge just off the coast. there are however, supposedly some cooling trends and even possibly small showers right on the heels of this high pressure.
