The Calibre "Translate book" plug-in is problem. I'd never install it.
I haven't had such a good laugh in a long time.

The program submits the pages to the translation engine of your choice (Google translate by default). It even permits you to send to professional engines if you have a subscription.

If you haul out your tinfoil hat and install it, you can choose the engine you prefer in "Settings".
