Why sneakernet (thumb drive)?
Just copy the entire Library folder to the Laptop over your network.
The target location should MUST NOT have anything.
Why not use an external Spinning Rust drive. The LIBRARY is not a speed hog demon. Most operations are under 1M (unless you do Manga)
