Only 10 books? Select the books that have LN, FN for the author name, click on Quality Check, click on Fix, click on Swap Author FN LN <-> LN, FN and that should correct your issue with the Author field. In the left hand column, right click on Authors, click on Manage Authors, click on the Recalculate all author sort values.
I will say that for 10 books, it would have been faster to use the Edit metadata individually to change the Author to FN LN and then click on the icon to calculate the Author Sort.
