Kobo is much easier to strip DRM from than Amazon and they only add it to books where the publisher requires it. I wouldn't let that alone put you off from a bundle.
The Tad Williams bundle were all DRMed files. Easy to remove, but I could see it being frustrating to someone who didn't want to deal with it.
But the Steve Erikson ones are published by TOR, so you will get DRM-free ePubs if you buy that one. Man, the books are $10 a pop!
