A survey would not do. There are too many possible answers and either some will be missed or there will not be enough space all the possible answers.

I can say why I do. This is not in any order.

More portable as I prefer a larger tablet
Larger screen then my phone
No distractions popping up on screen
Much better battery then a phone or a tablet
Better reading in daylight
Better eBook organization
Able to carry more eBooks without needing the storage for other things

My iPhone is the 2nd more use device I have for reading.
