An eInk screen is not the only light source that's not a bother. Turn up the front light too bright and an eInk Reader is a bother.

I think there is a need for a survey, aimed at e-reader users, on why they prefer to read on an e-reader rather than a tablet or smartphone. I am curious to read the answers.
(It's probably already done, but I don't feel like looking for it).
