It won't be our problem for long. And I think I need to have a chair and popcorn at the ready for when the builders start downstairs in September. Because I told the new owner about it and he got an evil grin and told me he would inform the builders about the problem.
Just after their written warning the person living in the attic (several employees rent rooms above the restaurant) had loud music on in the middle of the night. They know my bedroom is next to the attic. It got me in the mood to sing along with one of my current favourite bands, a symphonic metal band. And I can't sing. But that didn't stop me from doing it at the top of my lungs. Soon I heard the thumps of two roof windows slamming shut. I did that two times and no more middle of the night boom boom music.
