Maybe I haven’t been very clear in my question - let me try again.
From the first post in this thread I see that a KFX formatted book won’t work for me so I’ll need an older format, azw?
I know that I download the book from browser then import into Calibre, what I don’t know is how to ensure that the file I download isn’t KFX format. My understanding is that the format depends on the device (ie eink Kindle) selected - please correct me if I’m wrong here. So my question is which eink Kindle do I need to have registered to ensure an ebook about to be released can be downloaded onto my computer using the browser in azw or whatever the older format before KFX is?
