Once a Kindle is registered you can copy & paste the Serial ID from your Amazon Web page Content and Devices > Devices.
Don't use a K1, K2, DX or DXG and update other old ones ones to firmware that adds azw3, or else you only get old mobi format downloads (basic azw or mobi).
