Booksellers along the Seine
Apparently the forces of bureaucracy are trying to get rid of the booksellers along the Seine in preparation for the 2024 Summer Olympics.

I feel sad, despite the fact that I will probably never buy a physical book for the rest of my life.
OTOH, why doesn't France invest the effort to have good free digital editions of all classic French literature?
