My experience was entirely opposite. At the time I got the Oasis 2, I still had my Voyage. I compared them closely, and sharpness/contrast was roughly equal, the difference between them was that the Voyage screen was very, very unpleasantly cold, while the Oasis screen is not.

I kept the Oasis 2, sold the Voyage, no regrets of any kind. I love the screen on my Oasis 2, I only wish it had the warm light option.

I don't doubt your experience though, as we all know that screens can vary. For instance, my Forma, bought a year or so after the initial release, does not have the dread "stripe" effect.
