Like, the Voyage and the Oasis 3 are not muddy like the PW5's was for me (god I did not like the PW5s I had), but there's something about the clarity and sharpness of the Libra 2 screen that I don't get on any of the Kindle devices I have. Maybe I have to get a PW3 or the newest basic Kindle to get that effect, since they are not flush screens.

So, while the Oasis and Voyage screens seem whiter/brighter (and the Voyage warmer, though possibly because there is a very low light at 0 brightness - I've yet to compare all of them in KOReader, stay tuned), the text feels less sharp than on the Libra 2, where it feels like the text is leaping off the screen and into my eyes.

Perhaps it is due to a difference in font/size/etc. I generally use either ChareInk or Georgia across all my devices so I tried to control for that, but it's hard to get an exact match in their native readers. KOReader seems to do a decent job matching them, but there, too, the Libra 2 seems to have a slight edge, no pun intended.
While I couldn't compare my Libra 2 with the Voyage directly (I had already sold the Voyage when I bought the Libra), I agree that the Libra is definitely sharper than the Oasis 3. That's probably because the Libra uses the latest Carta 1200 screen, while the Oasis does not; also the Libra has a recessed screen, which is often sharper than the flush one (but not always). Why the PW5 with the same Carta 1200 screen is so bad I have no idea (I also haven't seen a PW5 in real life, so I'm saying this based on your claim).
