Depends on the situation. When I bake ham and cheese sandwiches in the oven, I do it with rye bread, preferably black, but brown will do as well. When I eat cold sandwiches with lightly salted salmon fillet, I prefer white bread.
PBM loves oven-baked blood sausages in winter.
