Sync read/unread column in Calibre to Kobo Libre 2

Hi,

I added to Calibre a custom column that indicates whether I have read a book. This is a Yes/No column. I was hoping to be able to send this information to my Libre 2. In The Kobo plugin I added this column (along with "tags"). My hope was that this would create two new collections on the reader ("Read" and "Unread"). Somewhat predictably this did not work: there is no way the reader can know what I was trying to achieve in this instance.

My question is whether there is a neat way to achieve what I want. i.e. to create Kobo Libre 2 collections called "read" and "unread" based on the yes/no column in Calibre. At the moment I can only think that I would have to add a "read/unread" tag. I'm sure that would work, but it's messy in Calibre and I quite like the additional column.
