My Sage is also now suffering from repeated "dirty bit" issues when connecting to my computer and Calibre. As others have noted, this hasn't been a problem for the last several firmwares. But, with this one, it happens quite often (every other connection?).
Now, after I cleaned the last dirty bit error up, Kobo Utilities gives me this:
