ah, but i am not using the kobo touch driver, I am using the extended one which creates kepubs.. no such option in that.

i don't think deleting with calibre, or deleting with windows file explorer... makes any difference

when the kobo restarts after a delete, the book is gone...

but apparently the series info is still there in some look up file, so whan a replacement book ( same title, same author) is sent to device, the kobo is able to find and attach series info correctly, all by itself
