So...wait. Someone else, some third party, took (allegedly) screenshots, of a conversation that you had with this third-party, on Facebook, and posted them on your employer's LI page and that's somehow YOUR fault? Were you being immoral in those posts? Advocating murder, rape, or drug dealing? Or were you simply expressing an opinion about something? You said that they 'claim' that you had this conversation--where's the proof that it ever existed?

I don't mean to mountain/molehill here, but chastising you, you being driven off of social media sites, etc.--this seems like the mountain, from a molehill, IF the molehill even existed.

I'm not you and all that, but if it were me, I'd insist on seeing the "evidence." If you're going to wear it, which you apparently are, then you should at least know that you did what they claim, or said what they claim--or how you can be responsible for the actions of some nut-job 3rd party, I don't know.

This would make me insane; I don't do well with scenarios that are egregiously one-sided and unfair like this. I'd probably end up being fired, were I you, because I just wouldn't be able to let it go without proof.
