I'm actually on the way out the door to Frys, but do you happen to know if the "newer" BBB stock is just a firmware upgrade, and not in any way a hardware upgrade too?

I've seen this question elsewhere, but I didn't see an answer. Why does the downloadable update still say it's beta? They wouldn't put a beta in the new BBB models would they?
