Although it's possible that there's something hinky with my ADE code, because I found an epub in my Adobe folder from 2018 & I couldn't open it, either. I've installed DeDRM 10.0.3 and DeACSM 0.0.16.
Anyway, I've tried DLing from Kobo.com (desktop) to acsm files into Calibre directly, no dice. I can use the acsm to go to ADE, get an epub, pull the epub into Calibre, no dice.
When I use the Kobo desktop app, the kepub folder has a bunch of weird files with no file types. Can I pull these into Calibre? do I have to give them file extensions, or just do as is?
Should I go through the Kobo app on my phone, somehow?

You need to install and register ADE so DeDRM can get the key.
