This statement (from Ian's first post) contains the basic falsehood in the entire case - since he was able to post on the Amazon boards he COULD log into Amazon. If he has a valid customer log in, he can access his Amazon account - which contains his Kindle account. There is no mechanism I am aware of whereby Amazon can restrict "customers in good standing" from any activity on their own account. Without a valid Amazon account you can't participate in the Amazon Discussion boards.

I heartily second krisk - troll all the way.
