What it says on the cover is "The Complete Short Fiction of Greg Bear Volume 2." That means there was a Volume 1 and there might be a Volume 3, 4, 5, etc.

My daughter gave me "The Complete Calvin and Hobbes" in four volumes a few years ago. Should I expect each volume to have all the Calvin and Hobbes comic strips?

And if I bought a single volume on eBay, should I expect that volume to be complete? Book 3 of the hardback version of "The Complete Calvin and Hobbes" is being sold separately on eBay...
