I don't think 6 will even install on W7, so no 6 issue.
Wasn't the 'free' W7 -> w10 was for a limited time?
What annoys me about keeping old (32 bit) systems running, is MS pulled
existing updates (to me, unsupported is no NEW updates specific to that OS), making a drive restore a pain .
