Hello everyone, I've searched the forum it seems my problem hasn't been discussed,

I have kobo glo, it was working fine then I did factory reset from the setting menu to clear an existing account and install one new, however after that it got a freezing screen with some dots.

so I did clipper reset, and then manual reset(holding light button+power button) and followed instructions on the screen , but when choosing wifi it connects but gets back to time setting, so I chose the PC option through Kobo Desktop, then while following instructions on the PC app and after logging to my account on it I got 'internet access' error, and sync complete, but the ereader didn't seem to be reset yet as desktop app was stuck, so I ejected it when it was safe to do so but it got again this same problematic screen with the random dots.

and now even when I try to do that manual reset it doesn't work, so when I hit light button and then power button the screen blinks white and black then white and stays like this. I also tried to charge it for more than an hour in vain...

it seems the firmware update didn't go well through the desktop app or is the firmware problematic ? is there another way to reinstall the firmware because manual reset isn't working? Thank you
