I'm only asking here because while my problem seemed fixed earlier this week after the other error, it started again but with the error message pointing at KoboUtilites having a problem.

The database on your Kobo is corrupt. Have you been using Kobo Utilities to take a backup? If so, copy the latest database to your Kobo to replace the existing database and reboot. Then plug it back into calibre and use Kobo Utilities to check the database on your Kobo and if it's good, you are good to go.
If you do not have a database backup, you will need to logout and then log back in and start over.
