Soooo...it appears that if the Kindle cannot index a particular ebook, it just keeps trying and runs down the battery.
How dumb is THAT???
Even I can figure out that if a book can't be indexed, it should be tagged as such in the index file so the Kindle doesn't keep spinning its wheels trying. Sheesh.
