Yesterday it was windier than predicted, so it was officially a summer storm, but there was less rain than predicted, still 27mm. During the storm it was cold 11/12℃.
The north east was hit hardest, I'm in the center of the Netherlands and the damage was limited. All trains in northern half of the country were cancelled and lots of flights from Schiphol. In the province of North Holland people got a text alert telling them they should stay inside.
Around 1 pm it started to quiet down for us and by 6.30 pm, when I went to the cinema it was 18℃ with a slight breeze and during the evening there were a couple of rain showers.
Today looks to be nice; 22℃ this afternoon, breezy and mostly sunny.
