If by cook out, you mean fire up the barbecue, yes. If you meant building a fire and cooking over it, I did that enough when I was younger and we camped more, no. Currently working my way through a braai cookbook ( Ultimate Braai Master: Road Tripping with Justin Bonello by Justin Bonello & Helena Lombard) trying out some of the recipes.

The PBM loves barbecued brisket.
