FYI, I'm seeing issues with ffnet not updating metadata immediately even while showing new chapters. I was going to link an example, but it's updated now. The update notification email for it was ~6 hours previous.
It's not the first time lately that I've seen this happen, unfortunately.
I can't think of anything we can do in FFF about it--maybe set FFF's Calculate Word Count to 'Yes Always' instead of 'Yes, unless found on site' to get a Word Count.
