I do not know how to tell what version is installed on iOS, but on Ventura, the version is 5.2 (5800.2), while on Sonoma beta 2, it is Version 6.0 (5889.31).

I assume the macOS and iOS versions are more or less in sync, being some sort of Catalyst app.

I don't see any visual differences in the iOS app but in Settings, the 17 beta has a setting for Calendar access, whereas 16 does not.
