The 'Status line' as mentioned by DNSB, shows Number of books:
in that Library [nnnn, n selected]
If a Search is in effect: [qq of nnnn, n selected]
If a VL is in force: [qq books of nnnn, n selected]
And you guessed it, whe a Search of a VL is in force:
[ff of qq books of nnnn, n selected]
The status line is used other times, but this is what shows most of the time.
