PDFs may not have text. Even if they have text they may not work well with TTS systems (Text to Speech).
There are various ways to convert real ebooks to mp3 files using TTS.
They are not real audio books. It's just TTS as a file.
The Calibre Viewer supports TTS and I think there was a TTS to mp3 file plugin.
