Actually, I think ebook devices have to become a lot cheaper (sub $200) for ebooks to gain in popularity with the masses.

The prices of the ebooks don't bother me as there's advantages to having the book in electronic format (convenience, availability, space, etc.)

To get back on topic, I'm glad that these books are now "legally" available and not a temptation for those who may otherwise have obtained pirated copies.
