Windows: Fix a regression in the previous release that could cause files to be deleted if one of the files/folders was locked in another program while changing title/author in calibre

After looking at the description of the fix, I'm not sure it's correct. I did not have the files/folder locked in another program. I added the eBook to the library and then went to edit it. After the edit was done, I went to the metadata editor and edited it. I did not open the eBook or the eBook's directory in any other program when I got the error.

Thing is, I've never had a problem with the lock for the directory or eBook. So really do we need this?
