Glad to hear that at least my litte tool can fix the database entries.

It is often the case that metadata is read in EPUB2 but not (reliably) in EPUB3. Sometimes it can be the other way around. But in your case this doesn't seem to be the problem.

I recommend you to inform PocketBook about the problems. If they're given enough information, I think they're quite willing to continue to improve the metadata reading.
