I expected a package on Thursday, but the weren't able to deliver it. They didn't specify why, but I suspect the delivery person saw our closed store and didn't read the sign on the door that he should ring the doorbell to drop off his package.
I've changed the delivery method to have it delivered at a locker nearby. But that means I have to go there after work today, when it's 31℃.
It'll only get worse when we close our store. I'll be making a bigger sign to put on the door, including the same text in English, as I've noticed that more and more delivery persons don't speak Dutch. It probably won't make a difference, but one can try.
