I do remember being involved in ebook lending back when I had a Nook (2011). There were ebook lending sites popping up all over to hook people up.

As I recall, once that happened, it wasn't too long before all the big name publishers pulled the lending for their books. I wonder if any of those sites still exist, or whether it's back to actually knowing someone else with a Nook?
