Alternatively, perhaps Spring moved to Wisconsin? Or at least tried to. Apparently there was a slight problem with Homeland Security following the metal detectors getting over excited and attempting a rendition of a well-known work by Stravinsky (which went over the head of the staff and almost everyone else, including the author, it must be said), and a failure to disclose the exact day of departure and its address whilst resident (it seems that giving the address as all of US was not acceptable). Spring attempted to make things better by getting the sap to rise, which finally resulted in Spring being arrested for abuse of security staff. Currently Spring appears to be incarcerated at its port of entry, without chance of appeal whilst the authorities argue over its nationality so that it can be repatriated with prejudice.
