Look at the code for the Count Pages plugin for calibre. That will show you just how ADE page numbers are calculated.

Why is there no hyphenation? Do you like your users to be reading eBooks with wide gaps between words? Do you like a poor reading experience? It should have been there from the start. Why would you say hyphenation is not important when it is very important?
