Of course the rules don't apply to me! I'm a special snowflake!
I have memories of years back having an idiot shoot at our neighbours' kids. Evidently having your kids playing in a playground in their backyard made a lackwit who saw movement through the bushes and fired several bullets in their direction justified in his actions. His lawyer was also upset that their mum shot the nitwit's truck with a shotgun and was not arrested for attempted murder.
