This is the "Diag" interface, it's practically useless.
You often get this when it partially boots but fails.

Code:

  idVendor           0x05c6 Qualcomm, Inc.
  idProduct          0x900e

This is the "Download" interface, a/k/a EDL.
This is what you want to do anything useful.
You will get this when booting totally fails, like with a blank flash.

  idProduct          0x9008 Gobi Wireless Modem (QDL mode)
