Gentlemen,

I have a bricked Kobo Aura HD. I have tried to follow the sticky some folks have very kindly added. None has worked.

I need directions with the image as well.

Problem Description
The light or lamp switch appears to light the device but it remains a brick. A blue light next to the lamp button flickers indicating that it's not completely dead. Power Up doesn't do anything. Additionally the fourth of the screen vertically displays a missing image of the Normal Sleeping mode from the last ebook that was open. The USB power cord when plugged in seems to charge the battery but nothing works.

It is kindly requested to provide detailed documentation on any other software that may be needed to restart the device.

An additional question. During the reimaging process is it advisable for me to upgrade the SD card with a bigger capacity?

If someone needs to see the images of the dead screen kindly DM me and I can send you the images of the dead device for further help.
