That’s a good suggestion. When this happens to me, and I’ve checked to make sure that I didn’t accidentally filter the book out, it usually means there is a corruption in the database.
You could try logging out of your Kobo account on your eReader, then log back in again. If that doesn’t fix it, you might have use More>Settings>Device Information>Factory Reset, but let’s hope it doesn’t come to that yet.
