The way F2 now works in the Tag browser, i.e. position the insertion point for append is also consistent with its behaviour in the Category editor
Which leaves the behaviour of F2 in book list cells out on a limb, it assumes the user always wants to over type what's there. Could it be made to behave the same way as the other two - i.e position the insertion point for append.
BTW: over the past week I've made use of the Undo delete popup on two or three occasions, it works unbelievably well. The books were restored and the book list was refreshed in the blink of an eye.
I assigned Ctrl+Alt+F to the Tag browser find next action years ago. I don't use calibre's free text search, I've been using Windows search and X1 on calibre libraries for years… and I see no reason to change.
