Well, I finally did it too. replaced the old battery with this 6800mAh HSABAT, had a bit of trouble getting the old battery to unstick so I'm pretty sure it won't be working again. Stuck the new battery to the old glue and plugged the connector with the color aligned like the old battery was soldered, checked the device starts up, closed and letting it charge now.
