Certainly the default style may have an indent, which isn't a tab. That's easily set to 0 in the Style editor, which it should be for flushed right or Centred headings, or if you want the heading at the left margin.

Indeed, for an indent on first line of a paragraph, edit the style, which maps to CSS when converting docx to epub in Calibre, never enter a Tab.

A tab key should only be used to navigate forms, or enter an indent in programming, never used in documents / wordprocessing.

Aside Edit: I wonder can I make Tab and Shift Tab in LO Writer simply navigate next & prior heading instead of inputting?
