My father now thinks I'm crazy. Today I had to explain to him that my cross stitching hobby is actually 3 hobbies.

1. Finding and wishlisting (downloadable) patterns and kits. Seriously, my Etsy wishlist for cross stitching has over 150 items on it; most of it patterns, some are bundles of multiple patterns, and some needle minders. I'm now allowed to buy anymore, since I have three kits and five patterns, plus two active projects. So I need to finish some before I'm allowed to buy more. And tonight I discovered stitched pillow kits that are actually nice.

2. Buying stuff. Which includes patterns, kits, supplies (floss, fabric) and tools (needles, scissors)

3. The actual stitching.
